The Fujian-Taiwan area is traditionally known as Min, and the regional culture distinguishes itself through a long history of overseas exploration, settlement establishment, and trade route expansion. FTCCA honors the tradition of the Min pioneers to seek new opportunities and to promote commerce with different cultures in various regions throughout the world.   

  

Quanzhou Port in southern Fujian was the first commercial trading port in Asia, is a major transit point for trade traffic in the middle ages. A long history of trade development and interaction with a various groups of people in the region helped craft a rich culture of openness and innovation,  as well as hardworking tradition and mercantilism. The cultural heritage and trade experience provide a strong foundation for building partnerships and synergy for a new culture of worldwide exchange. FTCCA recognizes the necessity to transform and improve cross-culture communication and will commit sincere effort in working with other ethnicities to create a stronger working relationship and bonding in the new age of multilateralism.
